In Need of Furniture?

Who can use the scheme?
Anyone can use the scheme, however we will continue to deal with people in need first and foremost. Please note that we charge a higher (but still very reasonable) handling charge to people who are not on low incomes.

State Benefits, Students & OAP's
In order to receive a lower handling charge on furniture, you must produce documentation when visiting the scheme or accepting furniture on delivery. Proof of current benefits, student pass or pension along with two additional forms of identification are acceptable. If benefits go straight into your bank account, please provide a current bank statements. Students are required to show proof they are in full-time education, one form of identification and a utility bill.

Voluntary Groups & Organisations
We often receive good quality office furniture which are suitable for new and current voluntary groups and organisations, we keep these items in a separate garage. Please make an appointment to view.  

Cost
All items possess and individual handling charge, please contact us for fuller details.

Warehouse
You are welcome to view furniture from Monday to Thursday between 12pm-2pm , there will be no admittance at any other time.

Payment
Please note that we only accept cash.

Delivery
Delivery to Welwyn Hatfield residents is free of charge to Welwyn Hatfield, for other areas such as St.Albans, Potters Bar, Hertford and Ware, an out of area delivery charge will apply to cover the cost of fuel. We do not receive any type of funding from these areas and have to apply a small charge in order to accommodate their residents. We will deliver your furniture at the earliest mutual convenient date.
